Custom Refrigeration & AC Design

Rather than a “one-size-fits-all” approach, custom design focuses on the specific thermal load of a space.

  • Load Calculation: Assessing square footage, insulation quality, window orientation, and occupancy to determine the exact BTU requirements.
  • Energy Efficiency: Integrating Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) or inverter technology to ensure the system only uses the power it needs.
  • Specialized Environments: Designing for server rooms (close control cooling), medical facilities, or cold storage where temperature fluctuations must be near zero.

Ventilation and Extraction Systems

This is the “lungs” of the building. Proper ventilation is critical for both health (CO2 removal) and safety (smoke/fume extraction).

  • Heat Recovery Ventilation (HRV): Capturing heat from exhausted air to pre-warm incoming fresh air, significantly cutting heating bills.
  • Commercial Kitchen Extraction: Specialized ductwork and filtration (like electrostatic precipitators) to handle grease, smoke, and odors.
  • Air Filtration: Installing HEPA or UV-C light sterilization stages to remove pathogens and allergens from the circulating air.

Reactive and Scheduled Maintenance

Maintenance is the difference between a 15-year system lifespan and a 5-year system failure.

  • Scheduled (Planned Preventative): * Cleaning condenser coils to maintain heat exchange efficiency.
    • Checking refrigerant levels (low levels can burn out the compressor).
    • Replacing filters to ensure high Indoor Air Quality (IAQ).
  • Reactive (Emergency): * 24/7 rapid response for critical failures.
    • Diagnostic “root cause” analysis to ensure the same part doesn’t break twice.
